Christmas in New York City is both subdued and exciting compared to the usual atmosphere. There is so much to do its difficult to know where to begin. New York is a fantastic festive city with a fun loving populace that simply makes the place what it is. Here in no particular order are the top 10 things you can do in NYC with a New York Limousine this Christmas season.
1.The Nutcracker is playing at the New York State Theater. Tickets ranging from $10-$215 and with something for all ages to enjoy from angels to fairies. Great for kids or adults.
2.Check out the local Zoos! Both the Central Park Zoo and the Bronx Zoo have great holiday activities going on. At the Central Park Zoo the animals get to unwrap present for the joy of the onlookers. While at the Bronx Zoo there is a great Polar Bear Express Experience, featuring music story telling and live reindeer.
3. From the end of thanksgiving and right up until Christmas you can take the kids to see Santa at Macy’s. Heralded as the best Santa in New York Macy’s is certainly the home of Santa.
4.The Circus is in town at Madison Square Garden. With their acrobatic antics on a otherworldly stage the Cirque du Soleil is going to be showing Wintuk in the WaMu theater. Prices range from $40-$220 and they are showing until January 4th so be sure to catch this awesome spectacle.
5.Take a walk down 5th Avenue, and check out the renown, fantastically designed window displays. With stores such as Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Barneys, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bergdorf Goodman partaking in the merriment, this is a sight to see.
6.The New York Botanical Garden is proudly presenting the Holiday Train Show. You will get to see the Big Apple built out of plants, seeds, bark, and leaves. Not only that but there many little trains that are works of art in themselves.
7.The Rockefeller Center Tree is already lit up but you can still see the beautiful sight and enjoy the grandeur until the beginning of January. Take your New York Limousine and maybe even go ice skating at the Rockefellers rink.
