Summer Activities For The Family In New York City

Summer is here and people are starting to relax and enjoy the sun. Even if you are not local to New York it is a great option for a family fun day. There is so much to do that we can barely cover some of it. Local or otherwise renting a New York Limo and spending the day with family enjoying the city is a treat. The ambiance of New York is palpable and well worth the visit. These are a few things you can do with your New York Limo and your kids.

Visit the American Museum of Natural History. This is something easy and for all ages. With awe inspiring displays such as dinosaur bones and a life size whale model, who wouldn’t want to go? Not only are there awesome science exploration exhibits, there are displays that offer all of the excitement of a zoo. You can see all of the animals without the difficulty of trying to find them in cages. One thing to be aware of is the gift shops. They are on every floor and rather hard to miss.

Speaking of animals, a trip to the Bronx Zoo is well worth the time. Not only is the Bronx zoo capable of entertaining a family, kids and all, but it could even exaust you. The children’s zoo is a great option if you have little ones as it offers hands on and close up experiences. It is easy to spend an entire day here and not see everything that you want to see so planning can be important. Don’t forget that you can rest your feet and still see animals if you ride on the Asia Monorail. There is no need to spend idle time just sitting! If you are looking for something that isn’t an all-day affair maybe the Central Park Zoo is a better option.

If you want to get a birds-eye view of NYC have your New York Limo Driver take you to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck.  It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the site of New York City. Be sure to get your tickets in advance to avoid lines and hassle.

If a boat ride sounds like it could be fun then a look into the Circle Line Semi-Circle Sightseeing Cruise is likely the right choice. This isn’t the first thing people think of for a fun family activity but in reality it is wonderful for families with children of all ages. Not only can you get a great view of the Statue of Liberty, you get to see the NYC’s water front and gain a better understanding of the cities layout. There are also more thrilling speedboat rides on the Shark or the Beast if you want some excitement.

For better or worse in New York City you don’t drive yourself.
