Harlem Week With a New York Limousine

Once again Harlem Week is here. Harlem Week is a promotion and celebration of everything Harlem. With over 100 events throughout July and August and around 2 million attendees, this is clearly a bid deal. Harlem Week is in full force and with the help of a New York Limousine, can offer a great day or evening for yourself, friends, and family.

What Is It?

Harlem Week was originally Harlem Day, which was a day of encouragement and fellowship for New Yorkers in Harlem. As the event grew, they added more days ensure they were able to showcase the community and their history. It has been going for 38 years now and shows no signs of slowing. This event promotes Harlem’s rich Caribbean, Hispanic, European, African, and African-American history, religion, entertainment, arts, sports, and culture.

Events

There is such a diverse range of events and activities to see or participate in it’s hard to know where to begin. With everything from fashion shows to basketball competitions, there is something for everyone. There is something happening just about every day so check out the site and see what interests you.

Being Involved

Not only is there volunteer work if you are looking to help out with the event, there is also the chance to be a vender.  The event loves to have small businesses, major corperations, educational providers, any kind of government agency, and health agencies showing off the massive amount of people traveling to participate.

What To Do?

If you are overwhelmed and looking for something to do this Friday, don’t worry. There is a great event happening every Friday from 6-9 pm at the Studio Museum. Call up a New York Limousine and plan it out. Take the kids or even go with your friends to enjoy the free guided tours and to hear good music. Enjoy a nice night out with dinner before or after. The first 35 vehicles to show up get a commemorative item and all of the cars will be judged in categories like most unique, collective, vintage, and new.
