June Concerts with a New York Limo

June in New York is known for its concerts and festivals happening all over the city. There are a large number of free happenings that are well worth going to. You can even make a day of it with a New York Limo and enjoying some family or friend time followed with a free concert. If you are worried about the kids just sit on the edge and let them run around and play. Some of the venues even have events specifically for families, but then again there isn’t an age requirement to enjoy jazz or rock. These are a few recommendations of venues to look into for your various needs.

SummerStage is a citywide festival that is thrown by the City Parks Foundation. There are more than 100 performances happening throughout New York so it isn’t hard to find a time to go with the kids or friends. The New York Philharmonic will be holding free concerts Tuesday July 11^th to Tuesday July 17^th. This famed orchestra is playing its alfresco series in a series of nighttime concerts in the 5 boroughs. There will be fireworks after the shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn so grab a New York Limousine, plan a day or evening, and end it with a show and fireworks.

If jazz is your thing then head over to Battery Park City for the River and Blues concert. With artists like Jim Campilongo and Mark O’Connors this will be great for enthusiasts.

Madison Square Music is taking place Wednesdays between June 20^th and August 8^th. This event will feature soul, R&B, jazz, folk, bluegrass, and pop performances in Madison Square Park. On top of that chef Zakary Pelaccio will be featuring food from his Fatty trio of Restaurants the Fatty Crab, Fatty ‘Cue, and the Fatty Snack.

RiverRocks is going to be and the Hudson River Park’s Pier 84. There will be three rock concerts here this summer on the Thursdays July 12^th and 26^th, and August 9^th at 6pm. For rock enthusiasts this is the place to be.

The Stars of Tomorrow is a concert thrown by talented students from Mannes College the New School for Music and the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. This will take place on Hudson River Park’s Pier 45.

These are just a few of the events taking place this month. There are many more performances and they are not all required to be free if you want something more exclusive. A New York Limo is the perfect addition to a free concert to make an evening out with friends or family. These concerts are a great way to get out and listen to some good music. Some of them even offer great food to enjoy. NYC will be buzzing this month and even visitors don’t want to miss out on these opportunities.
